Wild Work Shops mission of sustainability and craftsmanship is practiced through making pieces from locally sourced woods and techniques passed down from the older generation. We are committed to using our business as a platform for promoting and educating about the craft of woodworking.
Our Values
We value sustanability by sourcing materials from many different places including but not limited to, naturally fallen trees, fire wood piles, and recycled materials giving them a second life. Sourcing this way saves a lot and teaches us to use what's already available.
valuing craftsmanship is about the time and attention it takes to make a well crafted and sturdy product that will stand the test of time.
Taking the time to imagine and gain inspiration is where we start. Next the idea is brought to paper where multiple drafts are sketched to find the exact look and functionality of the idea. once these two steps are complete we start building. With each cut, joint and wood species picked out during the (sketch step), building becomes the fun part.
